Privacy policy

The short version

This site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies of its own, runs no advertising trackers, and has no user accounts. The only personal data it is designed to collect is an email address you choose to give it, and that feature is not live yet.

What is collected

Email address, if you give it

The fishing calendar sign-up asks for an email address and nothing else. It is used to send the calendar and occasional seasonal updates, and for nothing else. It is not sold, rented or shared with charter operators, booking platforms or advertisers. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes the address.

As of 2 August 2026 this form is not connected. The field is disabled and no addresses are being collected or stored. This section describes how it will work when it goes live.

Server logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the technical information your browser sends when it requests a page — IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time. This is used to serve the site and protect it from abuse. It is handled under Cloudflare's own privacy terms and is not accessible to this site as a per-visitor record.

Analytics

None at present. No analytics script runs on this site as of 2 August 2026. Cloudflare Web Analytics is expected to be added, which is cookieless, collects no personal data and does not fingerprint or track visitors between sites. This page will be updated when it is.

Third parties your browser contacts

Google Fonts

Typefaces are loaded from Google's font service, so your browser makes a request to Google when a page loads. That request carries your IP address and is subject to Google's privacy policy. No other data is sent, and nothing about you is passed to Google by this site.

Booking platforms

"Check rates" and other booking links take you to third-party platforms. Once you follow one, you are on their site under their privacy policy, and anything you do there — searching, booking, paying — is between you and them. This site never sees your booking details, your payment information or your name.

Those links are affiliate links. When the affiliate programme is active, following one may tag the visit so the platform can attribute a booking back to this site. That tag identifies the referrer, not you. See the affiliate disclosure for how the arrangement works.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. Third parties you navigate to will set their own once you are on their site.

Children

This site is aimed at adults booking trips. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If an address belonging to a child has been submitted, ask and it will be deleted.

Your rights over your data

If you have given this site an email address you can ask to see what is held, correct it, or have it deleted, and it will be done without conditions. Depending on where you live you may have these rights in law — under the GDPR in the UK and EU, or state privacy law in the US. They are honoured here regardless of where you are.

Changes

When this policy changes materially — analytics being added, or the email form going live — the date at the top of this page changes with it.
