What this site covers

Fishing charters and things to do across the Grand Strand: Myrtle Beach, Murrells Inlet, North Myrtle Beach and Little River. The scope is deliberately narrow. It exists to help you work out what a trip costs, which boat suits your group, and when to book, before you hand anyone a card.

Most pages that rank for these searches quote a single boat's rate as though it were the market, attach "deep sea" to trips that never leave sight of the beach, and never mention the tip you will be expected to hand the mate at the dock. Those are the gaps this site tries to close.

How the prices are checked

Every price on this site is a range across operators, never a single "from" figure, and every range carries the month it was last checked right next to the number.

The current ranges were checked in September 2026 against 155 live Myrtle Beach charter listings on FishingBooker. Where the listings disagreed with what this site said, the site changed. Two trip ranges moved as a result.

No single source prices every trip type sold here. FishingBooker's board covers private charters across the whole market but does not price a head boat seat, a Gulf Stream seat or a dedicated shark trip. Those come from the published rate cards of eight Grand Strand operators, checked the same day. Each trip on this site records which source backs its figure, and the line under every price block names that source rather than crediting one for the other's numbers.

Charter rates move with fuel, boat size, trip length and season. A single number is one boat's quote on one day. A range is what you should actually budget inside. When a range has not been re-checked recently enough to trust, this site says so on the page rather than in a footnote.

How this site makes money

Booking links on this site are affiliate links. If you book through one, this site may earn a commission from the booking partner, and it costs you nothing extra. You pay the same price you would pay going direct.

What that does not buy is placement. No operator pays to appear here, no trip is called worth it because it pays better, and several pages tell you not to book something. That last part is the only real test of whether any of this holds. The full explanation is on the affiliate disclosure page.

What this site will not do

• Take payment for a recommendation, a ranking, or a mention.
• Print a price it has not checked without saying so.
• Call a trip worth it when it is not, to earn a click.
• Take bookings, or act on one you have already made.

Corrections

If a price is wrong, a boat has moved dock, or something here has aged badly, send it over. It gets fixed and the date on the page moves with it. Corrections from charter operators about their own trips are treated exactly the same as any other. The contact form is here.
